Description
These screws are designed to be an easy-to-install, high-strength alternative to through-bolting and traditional lag screws for a wide range of fastening applications. Bold thread design provides superior holding power. Patented 4CUT tip to ensure fast start, and reduced installation torque eliminating pre-drilling in most applications. Large head provides maximum bearing area. Double-Barrier coating makes screw suitable for exterior and preservative-treated wood applications. Deep 6-lobe Star Drive reduces cam-out, making driving easier. Low-profile head design provides a clean look and less interference after installation. Installs best with a low-speed 1/2" drill motor with a T-40 bit (bit included in each package). Screw diameter 0.220" with deep 6-lobe drive.
