The Simpson Strong-Tie HDQ14-SDS2.5 holdown combines low deflection and high loads with ease of installation. (30) 2-1/2" SDS Simpson Strong-Tie® Strong-Drive® screws are included which install easily, reduces fastener slip and provide a greater net section area of the post when compared to bolts. They may be installed either flush or raised off the mudsill without a reduction in load value. Material: 7 Gauge Steel Finish: Simpson Gray Paint Anchor Bolt Size: 1" Minimum Post Thickness: 5-1/2" Uses 2-1/2" SDS screws which install easily, reduce fastener slip, and provide a greater net section area of the post compared to bolts. Includes (30) 2-1/2" SDS screws with the holdowns to ensure the proper fasteners are used. No stud bolts to countersink at openings.
