CDX plywood sheets exposed to the elements can withstand exposure to rain or high moisture conditions, for a limited time, without compromising structural integrity. This plywood type is not waterproof.
Sheathing is rated for use as subfloor, wall, roof, diaphragm and shear wall sheathing. It is suitable for use in a range of construction and miscellaneous applications where strength and stiffness are required.
