Simply place your foot in the stirrup and press down firmly on the footplate to penetrate the grass and soil that has been affected, repeat as needed. After repeated use the soil plugs will be released through the aerator breaking down the surface and providing many necessary nutrients that the garden needs. Made from durable material allowing for more efficiency and rust resistance while reducing bending and enhancing comfort with the comfort grip handle. 1-1/2-inch tine diameter.
